Celebrating the Resurrection

In the remembrance of the one gave his own life to rise us out the ashes into the light, we often celebrate Jesus’ death.

I used to do the same to the point where I spent most of my adulthood attempting to understand this concept. Until I had a honest conversation with God about what is is to relentlessly love in order to resurrect someone. I started then focusing on the resurrection rather than the death.

” In 2 Corinthians chapter 5, verse 8, ‘ We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.’

In the spirit of the one who came to give us life in abundance, died for us to live, and resurrected so we could also be able to be a part of the Kingdom; I wonder at times what it means discover to be like Jesus.

” In John chapter 14, verse 12, ‘ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.’
When Jesus set us free to live the abundant life, I wonder what this life would look like if we christians truly lived in the power and true authority he gave us; even the one noted on the verse above.

According to this passage in John; we can now do even greater works through the Holy spirit of Christ Jesus. What would this mean to Christians when faced with trials and tribulations?

What would this mean for the healing community, for the church leaders? Why have we kept ourselves small?

God sent His only son so we would not perish in the mere understanding of smallness. What would it look like to live in the wisdom that through the Spirit of Christ we can.
I am truly out to discover what it is to live a Christ minded, God centered life and in celebration of Easter, regardless of what we are all going through; I hope and pray we are able to experience the true power He resurrected for us to experience.

Prayer:
Jesus I thank you for dying for us all so we could experience your Holy Spirit,
thank you for your love, and thank you for resurrecting so we could live.
Please instruct us on how to walk in your power, live in your grace, and discover what it is to live a Christ minded; God centered life.

Amen
